Overview

Making embryo science feel human

Gattaca Genomics offers preimplantation genetic testing, the embryo screening some families choose during IVF. We took the company from idea to brand to a website that explains the science calmly.

  • The problem

Advanced genetic testing is hard to explain and easy to fear.

  • What we did

We created the brand and a marketing website that explains the science in plain language and guides people to get started.

  • The result

A calm, credible brand and website, delivered from first idea to handoff.

Context

Science people can trust

Families considering embryo screening are making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. They need to understand what the technology does, and to feel supported while they learn.

Gattaca needed an identity and a website that carried scientific authority without feeling cold.

Constraints

  • Complex science, explained without jargon
  • Medical credibility on every page
  • A tone that is hopeful, never alarming

Key decisions

4 choices that shaped the design

  1. Plain language first

Every section leads with what the science means for a family, then explains how it works. The technical depth is there for anyone who wants it.

Plain-language steps: a few cells are collected from the embryo, then analysed in Gattaca's lab
  2. Trust before the ask

Clinical announcements and credentials sit near the top of the page, so credibility is established before anyone is asked to get started.

  3. One structure for complex content

Each testing technology follows the same clear structure and visual hierarchy, so visitors can compare options without getting lost.

  4. Calm and hopeful

A modern biotech look with subtle 3D, and a tone that supports rather than alarms.
